New court filings from Denise Richards' ex-husband Aaron Phypers allege his estranged wife is violating a court order amid their contentious divorce battle. According to the documents filed on Tuesday, July 21, Richards, 55, still owes Phypers $41,500 in temporary spousal support and attorney fees after being ordered to pay $5,000 per month starting in February to cover costs.

Phypers claims Richards hasn't made full payments since the court order took effect, citing incomplete payments totaling $6,500 in prior months: $4,500 in April and another $2,000 in May and June. This leaves an estimated outstanding balance of $35,000 plus $28,000 owed to his attorney.

A review of Richards' recent income and expenses reveals sufficient funds to meet the payment obligations. However, Phypers alleges Richards has been intentionally blocking required financial disclosure and discovery efforts.

Richards has not commented on the new accusations. The pair was married for six years before Phypers initiated the divorce process in June 2025, followed by a request for alimony in December 2025. His mother subsequently launched a GoFundMe campaign to aid in covering his legal expenses.
