Kim Zolciak’s Son Faces Emergency Court Filing in Alleged Sex Crime Case

Prosecutors have asked the court to order forensic interviews with “minor children” in connection with the multiple felony charges faced by Kroy ‘KJ’ Biermann Jr., the 15-year-old son of former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak and former NFL player Kroy Biermann.

The emergency motion, which seeks to conduct forensic interviews as part of the investigation into the alleged sex crimes, follows Biermann’s arrest on August 17 and subsequent indictment on seven felony charges, including aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, and sexual battery against a child under 16.

Court documents do not specify who would be interviewed or what information prosecutors are seeking through the forensic interviews. The procedure involves questioning minors by trained professionals, and the results can provide crucial evidence in cases of alleged sexual assault.

Biermann’s lawyer, Jason Sheffield, maintains that his client is innocent. He previously told USA TODAY that Biermann had taken a polygraph examination regarding the allegations and passed, adding that an examination found no DNA belonging to Biermann.

Zolciak has also denied the allegations, stating that her son categorically denies ever being involved in the alleged crimes.

Biermann faces serious charges after authorities allegedly discovered videos on his phone involving sexual activity with an underage relative while he was on probation in an undisclosed case. His release came with strict conditions, including electronic monitoring, virtual schooling, and restrictions on contact with the alleged victim and anyone 16 or younger.
