RHONY’s Sai De Silva Opens Up About Her Divorce

Sai De Silva is opening up about the end of her marriage after intentionally keeping her relationship private for years. Now, she is sharing what led to her separation from David Craig.

De Silva had been married to Craig for nine years before he filed for divorce on April 2, according to court records. They share two children, London and Rio. Since joining RHONY in 2023, De Silva has occasionally mentioned her husband but rarely featured him on social media platforms. His appearances also remained limited during this time.

On RHONY, De Silva described the state of her marriage: “We’ve completely drifted apart. We do nothing together.” She told Jessel Taank that she requested the separation and accepted responsibility for her part in the marriage’s breakdown.

De Silva explained why she felt disconnected in her marriage. “I just felt very lonely in my marriage,” she said. “What I realized is if you’re not watering the seed, it’s not going to grow. And I think for both of us, we were no longer maintaining that marriage on both sides.”

De Silva also discussed how her children influenced her decision to separate. She believed they could see that she was unhappy, so she wanted them to see their parents living happier lives. The reality star refused to publicly criticize Craig.

“I’m just so tired of the facade,” De Silva said. “So here I am breathing it all, telling my all.” She wants to discuss financial lessons from her marriage and encourage women to discuss money and prenups. Marriage involves legal and financial decisions, she emphasized.

For now, De Silva is adjusting to her new life with her children. She remains open to dating someday but feels no rush. The RHONY star identifies as a hopeless romantic.
