Reality TV alum Brandi Glanville has been dealing with a prolonged health crisis involving her face for approximately three years. The former star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has recently shared her struggles in seeking medical attention and the significant impact it has had on her finances.

In mid-2023, Glanville experienced extreme facial swelling, which was initially diagnosed as stress-induced angioedema. However, after consulting multiple specialists, including 21 doctors, she discovered that a ruptured breast implant might be a contributing factor to her condition. This diagnosis came as part of a longer investigation into her symptoms, which included going public with her issues in 2024.

As the year progressed, Glanville revealed that she had developed a benign facial lymph node tumor and recurring symptoms, necessitating daily intravenous (IV) treatments. Furthermore, she disclosed that she suffers from an antibiotic-resistant bacterial infection called ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley fever), Demodex dermatitis, and mononucleosis.

Glanville's current health situation demands ongoing IV medication, which will require her to remain under treatment for four to six months or possibly even longer depending on her body's response. Additionally, her treatment involves several procedures and surgeries, including removing the fungal ball in her face, old metal dental work, and her breast implants. Despite the exhausting nature of these treatments, Glanville has reported very little improvement so far.

The financial burden is substantial, with her monthly expenses ranging between $3,300 and $6,000, excluding additional costs associated with upcoming surgeries, medications, and everyday living expenses while she cannot work normally. Even with insurance coverage, Glanville faces significant financial strain due to her extensive treatment plan.

Amidst her challenging situation, Brandi's friend Gina Rodriguez initiated a GoFundMe campaign aimed at helping cover her mounting medical bills. The fundraising goal is set at $28,000, with nearly $1,147 raised thus far. According to the campaign description, all donations will contribute toward covering the costs of her ongoing IV treatments, medications, medical and specialist expenses, upcoming surgeries and procedures, necessary dental treatment, insurance costs, and basic living expenses.

The message accompanying the fundraiser highlights the difficulties faced by those close to Glanville: "For the past three years, RHOBH Alum, Brandi Glanville has been fighting an illness that has completely changed her life. She has gone from doctor to doctor searching for answers while her health continued to decline." It emphasizes the importance of receiving support during this difficult time, stating, "Your support makes a difference."
