Headline: PK Kemsley Claims Bravo Never Required Dorit’s $700K Wardrobe
The divorce proceedings of Reality TV stars PK Kemsley and Dorit Kemsley have been marked by disputes over finances and spending habits. In recent developments, PK has pushed back against his estranged wife's claim that she must spend heavily on designer clothes and labels to comply with her duties on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
According to PK, Bravo never instructed cast members to adopt a luxurious lifestyle for the show. He argues that maintaining a high-end wardrobe is largely a matter of personal choice, not a requirement for appearing on the series. This stance contradicts Dorit's assertion that she spends thousands on high-end brands because she must remain "camera-ready" at all times.
Court documents filed earlier reveal that Dorit allegedly spent $713K in 26 months, including $217K during season 15 and $500K during previous seasons. While Dorit earns more than PK, he claims she rarely contributes to mortgage payments, taxes, and other household expenses.
PK also points out that many of these expensive items are purchased on credit, further casting doubt on Dorit's claims. As the couple continues to spar over assets and responsibility, their case remains unresolved amidst allegations of mismanagement and disagreement over expense allocations.
For now, PK's contention that Bravo doesn't demand extravagant wardrobes from RHOBH stars remains unaddressed, leaving unanswered questions about the implications for future episodes.
