Britani Bateman Made It Close to Joining RHOSLC Original Cast

Britani Bateman, described as a friend of the cast on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, was nearly part of the show's inaugural season. She claimed in a recent interview with Virtual Reali-Tea that she advanced significantly in the casting process before being held back due to personal reasons.

"I made it pretty much to the end," Bateman said during the conversation. "You know, the house tour, the meetings."

However, her marriage at the time reportedly became an issue. According to Bateman, "But I was married at the time and the person I was married to was like, 'Oh, hell no.'"

It was later confirmed that Bateman did indeed go through a divorce in 2023, ending her relationship with second husband John Underwood.

Bateman eventually joined RHOSLC during Season 5 as Heather Gay's friend. When discussing what could have been if she had stayed out of public life longer, Bateman reflected, "Who knows what my life would be right now?"

In hindsight, Bateman stated she wouldn't change anything about her past decisions. That sentiment may soon become relevant again, especially considering her upcoming appearance on RHOSLC's next season.
