Dolores Catania, a regular on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, is judging the 2026 PEOPLE's World's Cutest Rescue Dog Contest. The contest invites submissions from dog owners with rescue animals, who compete against each other to win the title.

Catania appeared enthusiastic about supporting animal adoption initiatives during interviews. "Rescue animals have an incredible way of reminding us that love, resilience, and second chances can change a life," she said. "Every pet deserves a safe, loving home."

Public voting for the contestants runs until September 28th at people.com/rescuedogcontest. Three dogs with the most votes move on to the final round, where they'll be judged by Catania along with other industry professionals. The grand prize winner will be announced after public voting closes.

The contest announces its ten finalists on August 17th, kicking off a month-long competition.
