Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Eileen Davidson is currently recovering from a gruesome knee injury sustained during a cold plunge accident. In an Instagram post dated September 18, Davidson shared graphic photos of her swollen and fractured kneecap, revealing the extent of her injury.

"I sure won't be making those moves anytime soon!" Davidson wrote via Instagram, referencing her upcoming recovery process. "Slipped getting out of a cold plunge and fractured my patella," she explained, confirming that surgery would be required for her recovery.

Davidson's post included a photo of herself dancing at Kyle Richards' party to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Real Housewives. This image served as a stark contrast to the subsequent pictures of her injured leg, which showed significant swelling and a visible brace around her kneecap. In another snapshot, Davidson sat down with her injured leg elevated, highlighting the severity of her condition.

"How it's going," Davidson captioned the photos of her leg post-injury, poking fun at the situation despite the gravity of her situation. According to the Cleveland Clinic, a patella fracture, or break in the kneecap, requires surgical repair and can have a long recovery period.

Several members of Davidson's Bravo and soap opera families wished her a speedy recovery in the comments section of her post. Andy Cohen, executive producer of The Real Housewives franchise, wrote "No! Get well soon ❤️", while Lauralee Bell, a cast member on The Young and the Restless, replied "Oh no! So sorry! Speedy recovery! ❤️ Heal well and in time knowing you you'll get your groove back!"

Davidson has had a storied career, both in the realm of soap operas and reality television. Her involvement with the show earned her a Daytime Emmy award in 2018.
