According to McDonald, Beador's dramatic behavior changes dramatically when the cameras are rolling. In contrast to her intense interactions with producers and crew off-camera, she transforms into a rehearsed performer once the cameras turn on.

Teddi Mellencamp had also previously criticized Beador's antics, describing them as her "falling shtick." This assessment suggests that her over-the-top performances may be growing stale.
