KJ Biermann Pleaded Not Guilty to Seven Felony Charges
Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann's son, KJ Biermann, has entered a not-guilty plea to all seven felony charges in his sexual battery and sodomy case. His lawyers filed documents in Fulton County Superior Court, citing the teenager's defense to every charge in the Georgia grand jury indictment.
The charges against KJ include aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation, three counts of aggravated sexual battery against a child under 16, and false imprisonment. He was arrested on August 17 and later released on bail after posting a $200,000 bond.
Jason Sheffield, KJ's attorney, also requested a hearing to transfer the case to Fulton County Juvenile Court, which would occur before setting pre-trial and trial dates in Superior Court. The judge granted a request to seal documents contained in three envelopes, although details are still unknown.
A hearing to formally arraign KJ is scheduled for next Wednesday. Prior to this, a hearing to transfer the case to juvenile court must take place, following which pre-trial and trial dates can be established.
