Kyle Richards Aims to Mend Friendship With Dorit Kemsley After Tense Drama

At the launch event for The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th in New York City's Lobster Club, Kyle Richards, 57, spoke candidly about her intentions should she return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills next season. According to Kyle, repairing her friendship with Dorit Kemsley is a priority.

"I'm coming back, let's just say that part first," Kyle said. "You know that I would repair things with Dorit."

Tensions between the two friends arose during Season 13 of RHOBH when Dorit grew concerned that Kyle was giving more attention to others. This rift continued through last season's premiere, where Kyle expressed frustration after learning Dorit had read their private text message on camera.

While neither woman seemed receptive to communication in the past – Kyle described attempting to talk to Dorit as "two steps forward, three steps back" in December 2025 – they now appear open to putting the past behind them. Kyle reached out to congratulate Dorit on the release of her memoir, Unburdened, but hasn't heard from her since.

Dorit herself seems amenable to reconciling, having told Extra in May that resolving disputes often relies on cooperation from both individuals involved. As talks of a potential reunion gain traction, if these efforts will succeed.
