Presley Gerber Dead at 27: Ex-Girlfriend Lexi Wood Pays Tribute

Lexi Wood, a model and alumna of Bravo's reality show Summer House, honored her former boyfriend Presley Gerber with a heartfelt tribute following his death at 27 on September 20.

The two dated briefly in 2022 after seven years of friendship, during which time they appeared together on season 9 of the show.

In an Instagram post shared by Wood on September 22, she reflected on their relationship, writing, "It's hard to put into words what it means to lose someone who was such a meaningful part of my life for so many years." Through every chapter and every version of our relationship, friendship was always at its core, she said.

Before his death, Gerber had struggled openly with addiction and mental health issues. He had even checked into a rehab facility just one day earlier, seeking further treatment for these problems. In a March 26 Instagram post, one of his final posts before his death, Gerber wrote about letting go of control and finding inner strength.

In paying tribute to Gerber, Wood highlighted his kind and courageous nature, noting that he loved deeply and purely, and wanted to use his story to help others. Her tribute offers a glimpse into the complexities and nuances of their relationship.
