Nearly a decade after ending their marriage, Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer have reached a major agreement regarding their divorce. As part of this agreement, the former couple will use a private judge to resolve any remaining disputes between them. According to court documents obtained by entertainment outlets, Meyer, 49, and Maguire, 51, have agreed to dissolve their marital status while turning to the private judge to address outstanding issues related to their settlement.

This latest development marks another significant step towards finalizing their divorce, which began when the couple separated in October 2016 after nine years of marriage. During their split, they stated in a joint statement, "After much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple." They added, "As devoted parents, our first priority remains raising our children together with enduring love, respect and friendship."

Since their split, both Meyer and Maguire have continued to prioritize co-parenting and maintaining a strong family connection. In a 2022 appearance on World's First Podcast, Meyer discussed the challenges of co-parenting, saying, "It was a choice, and it was trusting in, like, the universe has got our back." However, she acknowledged the difficulty of maintaining their relationship, stating, "But let me tell you something, the work is a motherf–ker." Despite these challenges, Meyer emphasized her ongoing bond with Maguire, saying, "I can’t even explain ," before adding, "He is my brother. I love him to death."

Meyer has since moved forward romantically, getting engaged to music executive Geoffrey Ogunlesi in 2024 and confirming the birth of their daughter in a June Father's Day tribute. Meanwhile, Maguire has also been linked to several women, including 21-year-old model and influencer Mishka Silva, whom he sparked dating speculation with at the 2026 Super Bowl. Additionally, in July 2024, Maguire left Michael Rubin’s Fourth of July white party with 23-year-old model Lily Chee.

Before his romance with Chee, Maguire dated model Tatiana Dieteman from 2018 to 2021.
