Sharon Osbourne Seeks to Remove Longtime Accountant From Executor Role

Sharon Osbourne, wife of the late rock star Ozzy Osbourne, has initiated legal proceedings to remove Colin Newman from his position as executor of the latter's will. According to a report by The US Sun, Sharon has filed a claim in the High Court seeking to replace Newman with another individual.

The move comes after Ozzy's death in July 2025, which left his $100 million estate in the hands of multiple executors, including Sharon, her niece Georgina Maszlin, assistant Melinda Varga, and Newman. Records show that Newman has been involved with the Osbourne family for several decades, handling their finances since before Sharon and Ozzy's marriage in 1982.

Newman's connection to the Osbourne family predates his association with the couple. He first met Sharon while working for her father, legendary music manager Don Arden. Over the years, Newman has maintained his role as a financial adviser to the Osbournes, becoming a prominent figure in the music industry along the way. Notably, The Sun reports that Newman had served as Sharon's literary agent at some point.

Despite his long-standing involvement with the family, it remains unclear why Sharon wants to remove Newman from his position.
