RHOA Star Kandi Burruss Accuses Ex-Husband Todd of Using Her to Promote His Reality Series

In an interview on Tuesday, Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss got emotional discussing her ex-husband Todd Tucker's new reality series, 'Til Divorce Do Us Part. During the CNN Engagement Party chat, Kandi accused Todd of dragging her into promoting his show, which features claims of threesomes among other shocking moments.

"He keeps dropping , every week is a new one," Kandi said, clearly frustrated by the situation. When asked how she felt watching Todd's show, Kandi became visibly emotional, saying "Can I get a tissue?" at one point.

One of the main points of contention between Kandi and Todd is the comparison between his reality series and her own one-woman show, "I Do, I Did, I'm Done." According to Kandi, some viewers are misinformed about the production of her show, thinking there is footage available online. However, Kandi explained that she purposefully kept the crowds small and intimate, making it difficult for fans to access any recordings of the event.

"It's Drag Kandi to Sell My Tickets," Kandi stated, suggesting that Todd is using their relationship as a marketing strategy to boost ticket sales. Kandi also criticized off-camera producing, where castmates try to fabricate scenes for the show. She emphasized that reality TV should be authentic, stating, "It's not called made-up TV."

When asked about her time on RHOA, Kandi spoke out against her castmates attempting to stage scenes. "Some of them do that. I don't do that," she clarified. Kandi expressed her dislike for fake conversations, opting instead for genuine discussions on camera. "If we're gonna have a real conversation, let's have it on camera because I hate when people try to make up with me off-camera. when you find out later they had all these little side bars where they were getting you left and right, but then they want to make up so you don't really go hard on them when you get in the scene."

Kandi Burruss was married to Todd Tucker from April 2014 until March 2026. Their recent divorce seems to be fueling Todd's desire to capitalize on their relationship in his new reality series. The exact nature of this involvement remains unclear, but it is evident that Kandi feels exploited by Todd's tactics.
