RHOC’s Vicki Gunvalson Shuts Down Rumors About Daughter Briana Culberson’s Marriage

When Vicki Gunvalson's son, Michael Wolfsmith, appeared on Real Housewives of Orange County recently, he claimed to have not seen his sister, Briana Culberson, in eight years. This sparked speculation that the siblings might be estranged.

But their mother isn’t buying into the rumors. Vicki spoke with Us Weekly, defending her daughter's marriage to Ryan Culberson against allegations of trouble in paradise. "Ryan's a perfect husband," she said. "Briana is a perfect wife. They have a perfect family, so everybody needs to shut up."

Despite periodic separations due to distance – Michael lives in Spain, while Briana lives in Oklahoma – the siblings reportedly stay in touch through group chats. As for Ryan, Vicki dismissed concerns about past incidents, saying they were minor issues long resolved. The veteran reality star emphasized that her family members deserve respect, urging them to tune out malicious gossip spreading online.

"Briana's upset," Vicki noted. She hopes the controversy dies down soon, given its impact on Briana's business ventures. In separate remarks to E! News, Vicki reaffirmed her confidence in her children's relationships, insisting they remain close despite geographical divides.

"They've got friendly personal conversations," Michael clarified earlier regarding their communication. Whether Michael and Briana last saw each other seven or nine years ago hardly matters – what does matter is the frequency at which they do communicate. Despite some bad news getting spread online, their bond remains unbroken.
