Below Deck Star Nathan Gallagher Allegedly Axed from Bravo After 'Choking' Charges

Trigger Warning: This article includes a discussion of alleged domestic violence, with details.

Nathan Gallagher, a 27-year-old star of Bravo's Below Deck, won't appear in the upcoming season of the show. His absence comes after he was arrested last December on domestic violence charges in Australia. Gallagher was charged with intentionally choking a person without consent, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and common assault, stemming from an alleged altercation with an unnamed woman.

The charges are serious enough that producers have opted not to retain Gallagher for Season 12, despite allowing him to continue participating in Season 11 while his legal case plays out. Court records reveal that the alleged victim is Gallagher's former partner, Gael Cameron, a fellow Below Deck cast member whom he shares a child, Kayden, born in June 2025, with.

Police initially refused Gallagher bail before later granting conditional release. His matter is set to go to trial at Burwood Local Court in New South Wales on September 1, 2026.
