Jen Shah Will Complete Her Federal Sentence With Home Confinement on Friday, August 28

Former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah is less than a week away from completing her federal sentence with home confinement. According to reports from entertainment outlets, she will do so on Friday, August 28.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons lists Shah's official release date as Sunday, August 30, but since the earlier date takes precedence, she will serve out her remaining time under home confinement before being released.

Shah has been serving her sentence in federal prison and then under home confinement after being released from the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas in December 2025. She originally faced a six-and-a-half-year sentence for a slew of fraud charges.

As part of her upcoming release, Shah's representative told entertainment outlets that she considers this timing a "gift she doesn't take for granted" because it allows her to reunite with family members over the holidays.

Shah still faces paying up to $6.5 million in restitution to her victims as part of her probation agreement. The exact terms of her post-release plan are currently unknown.
