Lisa Barlow Reacts to RHOSLC’s Longtime Couples Separating: ‘I Don’t Worry About Anybody Else’
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Lisa Barlow has spoken out about the recent splits among some of her castmates, expressing a pragmatic view on relationships.
At the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th launch event on August 4 in New York City, Lisa stated, “I love marriage. I love the unity of it, and it doesn’t always work for everybody.” She noted that while separations may seem negative, they often indicate that couples are choosing not to pursue a divorce, which is viewed as a positive outcome.
Lisa emphasizes that relationships require effort and commitment, saying, “Where you put your energy is where you’ll get the results, and that’s a choice.”
After sharing a photo with her husband John Barlow, captioned “Partners in it all,” Lisa clarified that her intention was not to comment on her costars’ breakups, but rather to celebrate her own life and bond with her loved ones. “My focus is on me and my family and what’s going on in my life,” she explained from The Lobster Club. “If you listen to 'Baby Gorgeous,' the lyrics are, 'I just live my life. You can take a bite and just taste it.' For me, it was like I’m celebrating my business, my marriage, my family and we have so many good things happening in our household that I was just focusing on us.”
When asked if she was concerned about her castmates’ separation announcements, Lisa said simply, “Sorry, I don’t worry about anybody else. I wish you all well, but I’m having my own moment, focusing on me.”
This summer, fans can watch Lisa and several other popular housewives navigate their personal lives on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th, premiering Sunday, August 9 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo, followed by streaming new episodes the next day on Peacock.
