Meredith Marks Details Filming 'RHOSLC' After Death of Mary Cosby’s Son
On August 13, Meredith Marks appeared on Nova's "Jase, Lauren and Clint" radio show, where she was asked about keeping cameras rolling on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City amid the emotional aftermath of costar Mary Cosby's son, Robert Cosby Jr., dying in February.
Robert Cosby Jr. died at age 23 after a suspected overdose at his parents' Utah home. His mother, Mary, confirmed the news via a statement to Us Weekly on February 25.
"I think that you really have to have that thick skin,” Meredith said about filming through personal struggles on reality TV. “The moment comes out months later on social media, everyone weighs in and gives their opinion.”
Co-star Alexia Nepola added, "Some blogger posts it on social media, and then the whole world sees it.” She emphasized how not everyone views situations the same way, making it harder to cope.
This season of RHOSLC will feature Mary navigating grief. Season 7 premieres September 16.
