Crystal Kung Minkoff Reflects on Friendship Fallout

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) alum Crystal Kung Minkoff revisited the friendship fallout she experienced during her time on the show on "Reasonably Shady". The major storyline unfolded after she joined the program, leading to a rift between herself and 14 of her friends.

According to Minkoff, one particular friend had long been eager to appear on RHOBH. When she received the offer, she informed this friend first, but her friend turned against her instead. Crystal explained, "I had one particular friend who had always wanted to be on Beverly Hills. And then I got the call — they asked me. I called her . Not only did she just not be my friend anymore, she actually rallied a group of my friends and told them things that I said about them that I actually didn’t ."

Minkoff lost a total of 14 friends due to her involvement with the show, making her experience overwhelming. At a later date, when she encountered one of these women at a Hollywood party, it brought back painful memories of their falling-out.

During the uncomfortable meeting, Crystal's former friend greeted her warmly, saying, ', "Hi Crystal! How are you?". And I'm like, "Hi!" And she's like, "It's so good to see you."' However, this polite façade hid the true nature of their relationship, as Crystal's former friend would often ensure she wasn't included in social situations.

After remaining civil throughout the encounter, Crystal questioned her own behavior. As she reflected on the situation, she realized, "The whole night, I was being friendly, and then I get in the car. slam the door. She said, 'I'm pissed.'" Crystal added, "'I'm pissed at them. I'm pissed at myself, because why do they deserve me being fake to them?'… I want them to know what they did."
