As the Bravo reality series 'In the City' prepares for its sophomore season, Summer House star Amanda Batula has made the unexpected decision to step down from the show. According to a recent report by Taste of Reality, citing Page Six, Amanda will not be returning for Season 2 due to concerns over her role and compensation.

## The Reported Offer and Amanda's Decision

According to insiders, Bravo initially offered Amanda a reduced role in the upcoming season, sparking controversy among fans and fellow cast members alike. Sources close to the situation claim that Amanda was hesitant to accept the new terms, particularly as they pertained to her relationship with boyfriend West Wilson. Insiders reported that Bravo producers insisted West would not participate in filming, leading to a standoff between the network and Amanda.

However, another source disputes this narrative, stating that Amanda's exit had more to do with timing rather than creative differences or salary disputes. This account suggests that both Amanda and West may return to the show at some point in the future but not immediately.

## Cast Members and Their Fate

This season, several other original cast members are also departing 'In the City.' Reportedly, Danielle Olivera and her partner Eoin Heavey declined to continue on the show. Additionally, newcomers Andrea Denver and Lexi Sundin, who welcomed children shortly after the first season wrapped up, are not expected to appear in the next installment.

The reasons behind these exits remain unclear, leaving many questions unanswered about the direction of 'In the City' moving forward.
