Marcellus Wiley Seeks Block on Mentioning NY Lawsuits

Former NFL player Marcellus Wiley has asked a judge to block his ex-wife Annemarie Wiley from bringing up the pending civil lawsuits against him in New York during their impending domestic violence hearing.

TMZ obtained court documents showing Marcellus wants to keep his sexual assault lawsuits out of the way of his restraining order fight with Annemarie. According to the court papers, Marcellus's lawyers claim the New York cases involve seven accusers, different alleged conduct, and incidents dating back to the 1990s and early 2000s – most of which have never been proven in court.

Annemarie's team appears ready to use the New York litigation against her ex-husband, according to his attorneys. They've proposed adding an article about additional allegations and an effort to expand the case into a class action as part of their exhibits.

Marcellus denies the accusations and states he has never been criminally charged or convicted because of them. His legal team argues allowing this evidence would essentially force the judge to try another case inside the restraining order hearing.

A key point at issue is whether introducing this new information can be done without prejudicing the outcome and disrupting the integrity of both hearings. Only when the judge addresses these concerns will we know more about how these complex court battles play out for both parties involved.
