RJ Mitte, the former star of Breaking Bad, reportedly faced a painful family ultimatum in the weeks leading up to his death. According to sources, the actor found himself caught between his fiancée, Kennedy Suarez, and his mother, Dyna.

The reported family dispute emerged just days after Mitte passed away at the age of 34. Sources have since shared new details about what allegedly transpired in his personal life before his untimely demise.

Sources close to Mitte's family claim that Kennedy wanted him to choose between her and his mother, alleging that Dyna was interfering in their relationship. Kennedy and Dyna are said to have not gotten along, with Kennedy wanting Mitte to prioritize their relationship over his bond with his mother and sister, Lacianne.

However, Mitte was reportedly unwilling to cut ties with his mother, creating serious tension between him and Kennedy. The couple, who had known each other for around a decade, had begun dating in 2020 and got engaged on October 10, 2025, during a fundraising gala in San Diego.

It remains unclear whether the relationship problems weighed heavily on Mitte in the final weeks of his life. Kennedy and Mitte's family have not publicly commented on the reported ultimatum.
