A woman who has previously been banned from contacting Eminem was arrested after allegedly visiting the rapper's Michigan home despite an active injunctive order prohibiting such contact.
Nicole Gwen Savage, 46, was arraigned on an aggravated stalking charge at the 41B District Court in Clinton Township on Wednesday, October 28, according to the Macomb County Prosecutor's Office. Savage had visited Eminem's residence on Tuesday, October 27, leading his security team to call law enforcement.
The visit violated the no-contact order that prohibits Savage from making any attempts to communicate with Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers. "Everyone deserves to feel safe in their own home and go about their daily lives without fear of being harassed or stalked," said Macomb County Prosecutor Peter J. Lucido in a statement. "No one is exempt from these protections, regardless of their public profile or celebrity status."
Eminem's spokesman, Dennis Dennehy, did not immediately return a request for comment from Us Weekly on Friday, October 30.
If convicted of aggravated stalking, Savage could face up to five years in prison. During her arraignment, a judge set Savage's bond at $250,000 cash or surety only, with no option for a 10% payment.
In addition to the aggravated stalking charge, Savage also faces trespassing charges related to a separate incident in September. Her next court date in relation to the aggravated stalking charge has been set for November 9, according to prosecutors.
Savage's defense attorney, Thomas Quartz, downplayed the severity of the allegations, stating, "There are always two sides to every story, and my client's voice has yet to be heard." However, Quartz added, "When she does speak out, I truly believe the public will become a fan of hers or at the very least sympathize with her."

A no-contact order is a legal injunction issued by a court that prohibits one party from making direct or indirect contact with the other party. The purpose of this order is to protect the victim from further harassment or abuse. In the case of Nicole Gwen Savage, the no-contact order prohibited her from communicating with Eminem in any way.
How Can Individuals Protect Themselves From Harassment or Stalking?
Victims of harassment or stalking can take several steps to protect themselves. These include:
* Documenting all incidents, including dates, times, locations, and details of what happened * Reporting the behavior to law enforcement and seeking a restraining order if necessary * Changing phone numbers, email addresses, and social media accounts to prevent further communication * Seeking support from friends, family, and mental health professionals
