Heather Dubrow Discusses Her Relationships With Costars During Season 20 of The Real Housewives of Orange County
Season 20 of The Real Housewives of Orange County has been airing for almost a month, and tensions between its cast members have been escalating. In a recent interview, Heather Dubrow shared her thoughts on two costars: Jenn Pedranti and Tamra Judge.
"I met Tamra first person on the show, and I always compare her to a vampire," Dubrow said. "You know when a vampire bites you, you love them forever? She's my housewife maker, and I'll love her forever." When asked about what made her fall in love with Tamra initially, Dubrow recounted their introduction, saying, "We were going to lunch and waiting for the cameras to be finished setting up. We were by the coffee bar, and we started talking about our kids. I just saw her as a fellow mom, and I fell in love with her."
However, Dubrow expressed frustration with Pedranti's behavior, noting that there seems to be a disparity between her on- and off-screen persona. "Between seasons, we hung out with our husbands, and we went out to dinner. We had a great time. We never once talked about Tamra," Dubrow explained. But upon returning to filming, Pedranti would frequently question Dubrow's feelings towards Tamra, leading to a confrontation.
"It felt like Jen had an agenda, and I didn't like that," Dubrow stated. "The minute the cameras started rolling, it was all 'Let me ask Heather this' or 'Tell me about your feelings towards Tamra.'"
Dubrow also highlighted the perceived double standard within their friend group, where one member might easily forgive a rival while being critical of another's friendship choices. According to Dubrow, she doesn't understand why the same logic isn't applied universally.
New episodes of RHOC air Thursdays on Bravo at 8 p.m. ET. As the season continues, viewers can anticipate more conflict among the cast members. For now, Dubrow's relationship with Pedranti hangs in limbo.
