Brittany Cartwright Accused Jax Taylor of Threatening to Kill Her and Mutilate Her Body: Granted Restraining Order

Court documents reveal a pattern of abuse allegedly inflicted on reality TV star Brittany Cartwright by her ex-husband Jax Taylor during their divorce proceedings. Brittany filed a domestic violence temporary restraining order, detailing instances of coercive control, financial abuse, emotional and psychological abuse, gaslighting, and physical violence.

According to the filing, Jax made threats against Brittany, stating he would "gut me like a fish" if she didn't comply. He allegedly physically attacked her, throwing furniture that caused injuries. Jax also gained unauthorized access to Brittany's iPhone, deleted messages, and removed her $70,000 wedding ring without her consent.

In addition to these allegations, the court documents describe Jax using derogatory language against Brittany, calling her names such as "bitch," "c*nt," and "wh*re" both privately and publicly in front of their child. These incidents are said to have caused significant distress for the entire family.

A judge has since granted the restraining order, requiring Jax to stay at least 100 yards away from Brittany. The motion for sole custody of their 5-year-old son, Cruz, was denied pending further review.
