KIM ZOLCIAK DEFENDS SON KROY JR., CLAIMING HE PASSED POLYGRAPH TEST
Reality TV personality Kim Zolciak is speaking out on behalf of her 19-year-old son, Kroy Jr. Biermann, who faces charges of sexual battery. In a statement provided to Us Weekly, Zolciak maintains her son's innocence and details the steps he took to clear his name.
According to Zolciak, her son willingly submitted to a polygraph test regarding the allegations, which he claims to have passed. Additionally, investigators found no DNA belonging to her son during their examination of the case.
In her statement, Zolciak also addressed the potential consequences of false accusations: "False accusations can have devastating consequences. Every legitimate allegation deserves to be taken seriously and investigated based on the facts and evidence." She urged people to allow the proper process to unfold rather than spreading unproven allegations.
Details about the alleged incident remain scarce, but court records indicate that KJ was arrested on August 17 in Alpharetta, Georgia. A preliminary hearing is set for September 8. The young man is currently held at the Metro Regional Youth Detention Center.
