A new photo shared by the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHONJ) on Instagram has sparked controversy before the revamped series' premiere in December 2026. The image appears to have undergone significant editing, featuring two glaring mistakes involving a new cast member and Dolores Catania.

According to reports, the woman standing third from the right seems to be cut off below the waist, while her lower portion appears blended into a nearby car. Furthermore, Dolores Catania's position on the left overlaps with the car's bodywork, creating a distorted visual effect.

Neither Bravo nor the cast has provided any explanation for these errors, leaving fans and enthusiasts wondering how such mistakes occurred. This fiasco arrives at a pivotal time for the franchise, which has been on hiatus since its last new episode aired. Season 15 is set to premiere in December 2026, introducing returning cast members Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga alongside five new housewives and a friend of the cast.

## What Went Wrong?

An examination of the photo reveals that the editing process appears to have been botched. The exact nature and extent of the mistakes are unclear without further clarification from Bravo or the cast. As the production gears up for its revival, this mishap raises concerns about the attention to detail and quality control measures in place.

## A Fresh Start or Fresh Mistakes?

Teresa Giudice expressed enthusiasm about the changes, stating, "I was excited. We needed a fresh start, and I love new blood." Melissa Gorga echoed similar sentiments, highlighting the potential benefits of introducing new personalities to the show. However, the recent photo debacle casts doubts on whether the production team is adequately prepared for the revamped season.

Xio Cammarota, one of the newcomers, emphasized the diversity within the show's casting, saying, "New Jersey is more than Italians. There’s so many different nationalities." Her comments reflect the intention behind the revamped lineup, which aims to showcase a broader representation of the region's demographics. Nonetheless, the editing glitches in the promotional photo undermine the cast's efforts to revamp their image.
