In a recent conversation at Bravo Fan Fest, Rosie DiMare, star of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island (RHORI), expressed her enthusiasm for a potential crossover episode featuring cast members from The Real Housewives of New Jersey (RHONJ). Specifically, she extended an invitation to Melissa and Joe Gorga to join their show.

According to DiMare's statement, "I love Melissa [Gorga] from New Jersey. I actually knew her when I was still a news anchor. We used to host live events and stuff, and she was at one of them. So I would love to do something with Melissa and Joe [Gorga]. If they ever want to come to Rhode Island for a little trip, we’d love to have them." This sentiment suggests that DiMare values the idea of collaboration between the two shows and believes the RHONJ stars would be a great addition to RHORI.

Background on Potential Crossover

A crossover episode featuring Melissa and Joe Gorga on RHORI has been discussed among fans and cast members alike. In fact, Alicia Carmody, another cast member of RHORI, made a similar suggestion earlier this summer, stating, "We started off Season 1 literally never knowing what we were doing on a reality TV show. I feel like we’re growing, and I think that’s going to be cool for everyone to see."

It's worth noting that the idea of crossovers is not new to either franchise. RHONJ has featured Dolores Catania as a "friend of" in Season 1 of RHORI, showcasing the possibility of collaborations between the shows. With both franchises being part of the larger Bravo universe, these types of interactions can help foster a sense of community and shared experience among viewers.

Chronology and Relevance

The Real Housewives of Rhode Island Season 2 is expected to premiere in 2027 on Bravo, following the success of its first season. Given this timeline, it remains uncertain whether Melissa and Joe Gorga will ultimately accept Rosie DiMare's invitation. However, if the crossover does occur, it could potentially coincide with the release of RHORI Season 2.
