Survivor Greece Star Seeks Over $100 Million After Devastating Filming Accident

Stavros Floros, a former contestant on Survivor Greece, has filed a lawsuit against the show's producers, alleging they failed to provide adequate safety measures leading to a devastating accident that cost him his left leg above the knee. According to court documents, the accident happened on May 11 in the Dominican Republic while Floros was spearfishing.

A tourist boat's propeller struck Floros, causing severe injuries, including a severed left leg above the knee and additional harm to his right leg. He spent 61 days hospitalized in Miami undergoing multiple surgeries before resuming his recovery in Greece.

The lawsuit claims that the production company neglected essential safety protocols, such as deploying safety boats, establishing protected swimming areas, and installing sufficient warning signs. Furthermore, it asserts that tourist vessels regularly traversed nearby waters without taking necessary precautions.

The incident prompted an abrupt end to the season, with organizers halting production early. Despite this decision, SKAI awarded Floros the €250,000 grand prize. This case continues with no clear determination of liability yet made.
