RHOC’s Emily Simpson Discusses Impact of Twin Sons’ Conflict

Reality TV star Emily Simpson is dealing with big changes at home. She and her husband, Shane Simpson, are parents to 13-year-old daughter Annabelle and 11-year-old twin sons Luke and Keller. The family recently made some major adjustments to their children's sleeping arrangements, trying to make life easier.

In an episode of RHOC Season 20, Emily and Shane revealed that they separated the twins' rooms, giving each child their own space that shares a bathroom. Emily said in a confessional that "The situation with Luke and Keller in the same room does not work." She added that over the past year, Keller has been acting out.

Things became especially difficult at night when arguments between the brothers would often cause bedtime stress for everyone. "Nighttime at our house has been a nightmare," Emily explained. Luke experienced severe anxiety during bedtimes, which made getting him to sleep take a long time. Meanwhile, Keller got angry during these situations.

As a result, the stress left both Emily and Shane feeling frustrated with each other. They've disagreed about how to parent their children, and it's taken a toll on their marriage. Emily said, "It's had drastic effects on our marriage."

However, changing Luke's school seemed to have made the biggest difference in his behavior. For now, the family is taking things one day at a time as they adjust to their new routine.
