Is Nathan Gallagher Getting Fired From Below Deck Med Due to Domestic Violence Arrest? His Future Revealed

Recent news of Nathan Gallagher's domestic violence arrest has sparked uncertainty about his involvement in Below Deck: Mediterranean. While Nathan has not been officially cut from the current season, which predated his arrest, it seems unlikely he'll return for next season or beyond.

An anonymous source told The U.S. Sun that although Nathan wasn't removed from the current season while his court case unfolds, Bravo doesn't condone his behavior. For season 12, the same source said Nathan wouldn't appear. Since that season has already been completed, it appears production had factored in his absence beforehand.

"Nathan was not cut from the current season while the court process plays out, but they do not condone the behavior of the charges made against him," the source stated. When asked about Nathan's prospects for returning, they added, "They're all on a year-by-year and per-season basis. If they get picked up for another season, great. But if not, it's not like this big dramatic firing thing." However, when pressed about Nathan specifically, the source quipped, "In Nathan’s case though, looks like that ship has sailed – pun intended. It seems likely he won’t be back.”

Nathan is facing multiple charges, including assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentional choking without consent, and common assault, related to an incident in Sydney, Australia. The charges stem from an alleged altercation with a 29-year-old woman at an apartment complex.

Separately, Captain Sandy Yawn discussed Nathan and Gael Cameron's complicated past during an interview last September with Daily Dish. Yawn noted observing such issues arise frequently among cast members and voiced her opinion on the couple's plight. She characterized their story as fascinating, saying, “Some people are just meant to be together."
