Jen Shah Completes Federal Sentence for Telemarketing Fraud Case

Jen Shah has finished serving her federal sentence for conviction in a nationwide telemarketing fraud case. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star completed her sentence on Friday.

Shah spoke about finishing her sentence and reflecting on her past in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. “Today marks the official completion of my sentence and the closing of a chapter that changed my life and my family forever,” she said.

She acknowledged taking responsibility for her actions and having a better understanding of her past. Shah also discussed how she knows about the people she trusted and the warning signs she failed to see.

Her case appeared during seasons two and three of RHOSLC. Shah left prison in December and moved to home confinement before completing her sentence. Her plea agreement stated that she plead guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in July 2022. She was sentenced to six and a half years in prison in January 2023, but her term was reduced later.

Moving forward means more than ever to Jen Shah now that she is reunited with her family, specifically her husband Sharrieff "Coach" Shah after celebrating their 32nd wedding anniversary together. She said being with them brings her joy. In April, Shah told PEOPLE about feeling deeply remorseful and sorry for her actions while in prison. While meeting Ghislaine Maxwell and Elizabeth Holmes served as a distraction at times, Shah expressed gratitude for her experience with those women behind bars.
