Domestic Violence Restraining Order Denied Against Ex-Boyfriend Tom Sandoval

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, a domestic violence restraining order requested by Victoria Lee Robinson against her ex-boyfriend, Vanderpump Rules alum Tom Sandoval, has been denied. The reason for the denial lies in Tom's timely filing of his own response, which prompted a properly noticed hearing before Victoria's petition could proceed.

At issue are allegations of physical and verbal abuse leveled by Victoria against Tom. Court records indicate that Victoria claimed Tom engaged in a "loud and erratic" argument with her father, J. Will Robinson, on June 3. Specifically, she alleged that Tom shoved her down the stairs in his home and pushed her to the ground at a hotel in Nashville, Tennessee, while visiting her terminally ill grandfather.

In response, Tom's representatives assert that video evidence from the night in question depicts Victoria punching Tom in the face. They further contend that Tom never physically harmed Victoria during their 2½-year relationship but rather feared her repeated physical attacks and unpredictable behavior. According to court filings, Tom intends to present substantial evidence documenting what he endured as a victim of ongoing physical and emotional abuse.

The case now hangs in the balance as each party presents its version of events. Despite Victoria's concerns about potential future harm to herself or her father, the court ultimately deemed Tom's prompt action sufficient grounds for rejecting the restraining order request.
