Riley Burruss Says Backlash Over Messy 'Next Gen NYC' Moment Turned Racist

Reality TV personality Riley Burruss has been speaking candidly about the fallout from her recent appearance on Bravo's reality show "Next Gen NYC." In a conversation on Gia Giudice's Casual Chaos podcast, Burruss revealed how the show's audience responded to her behavior, including sending racist messages.

"I got racist texts, and so I had to literally turn off my phone for a week," Burruss said. She also acknowledged that her actions were problematic, stating, "When it comes to like race, like all of those things, like the microaggressions, that's not okay."

Burruss has appeared on several Bravo shows, including "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" and "Next Gen NYC." The latter is currently airing its second season, which debuted on June 24, 2026.
