Threatening Messages Allegedly Sent by Hayden Panettiere's Ex

Court documents obtained by TMZ show that Hayden Panettiere's ex-boyfriend Brian Hickerson allegedly sent her multiple threatening texts after his 2020 arrest for domestic battery.

According to the court documents connected to Hickerson's arrest, he allegedly sent Panettiere several texts about the accusations, including one that read, "Time to go to war I guess," another claiming "After Wyoming and LA disappears, so do the videos," and a third stating, "Even if I sit in a jail cell for 10 years, all of the stuff that is vaulted overseas with my people will come out the second I step foot into prison. And all that does is hurt your name while simultaneously clearing my name. And at that point who actually cares?"

Hickerson was arrested in February 2020 after an alleged physical altercation with Panettiere in Wyoming. He was later sentenced to one year of probation rather than jail time. Court documents reveal that law enforcement believed Hickerson tried to intimidate Panettiere into dropping the case through the alleged threats.

The details of the messages are outlined in probable cause warrants and police reports. One text read, "Say something Hayd, so I don’t get defensive and start firing off emails to people to get ready," with another apparently stating, “I thought his legal stuff would magically disappear … we gotta figure something out, buddy."

Since Panettiere’s death on August 16, Hickerson has not publicly commented on the allegations or the recent developments surrounding them.
