Below Deck Star Convicted in Absence as Arrest Warrant Issued

Nathan Gallagher, star of Below Deck, has been convicted of domestic violence-related charges after failing to appear in court at Burwood Local Court on September 1. An arrest warrant has now been issued against him.

The charges stem from an alleged domestic violence incident involving his former partner and co-star, Gael Cameron. According to reports, the incident reportedly took place at their shared residence in Melrose Park in December 2025. Police arrested Gallagher on December 27, 2025, and charged him with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally choking a person without consent, and common assault.

Judge Janine Lacy delivered the verdict, saying: "Given the serious nature of offences. the defendant doesn't have any prior criminal history, but the offenses are very serious, with significant maximum penalties, and the context of DV committed in the home."

There is evidence suggesting Gallagher is currently overseas, which led Judge Lacy to issue an arrest warrant.
