Nathan Gallagher Speaks Out After Arrest on Domestic Violence Charges in Australia

Reality TV personality Nathan Gallagher is addressing the public after his recent arrest on domestic violence charges in Australia. In a statement, Gallagher said the portrayal of events in the media represents "only one side" of the situation.

He maintains that there is another side to the story, backed up by evidence such as video footage, messages, and other records. When asked to share these materials for review, however, Rolling Stone reported that it didn't receive them. Despite this, Gallagher reaffirmed his stance: "I won't accept being represented solely through one person's account of our relationship when there's another side and relevant evidence exists."

The arrest stems from an alleged December 26, 2025, incident at a Sydney-area apartment complex. Gallagher faces charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentional strangulation without consent, and common assault. Following his arrest, he was granted conditional bail and is due back in Burwood Local Court on September 1.

A separate legal matter also involves Gallagher's former partner and Below Deck co-star, Gael Cameron. Cameron is named in a court filing related to an Apprehended Violence Application lodged against him.

While acknowledging past mistakes, Gallagher takes accountability for his actions but contests being defined solely based on one perspective of their relationship. With his court case ongoing, Gallagher prioritizes caring for his son and seeking a harmonious co-parenting arrangement with Cameron. So far, Cameron hasn't publicly responded to Gallagher's new statement.

Gallagher's case remains before the courts, while below deck season 11 continues its broadcast schedule. For those affected by domestic abuse, help is available through the National Domestic Violence Hotline (call 1-800-799-7233).
