Jax Taylor Seeks Legally Single Status Amid Divorce Proceedings

Vanderpump Rules alum Jax Taylor has filed a request with a judge to declare himself legally single while still working out the details of his divorce from ex-wife Brittany Cartwright. Court documents show that Jax's attorney believes he is well within his rights to seek an immediate dissolution of marital status, given the lengthy delay in resolving the case without any set trial date.

According to the documents, nearly two years have passed since the divorce proceedings began, resulting in significant frustration and uncertainty for Jax. His attorney argues that this prolonged process leaves them with no clear path toward resolution, prompting their decision to pursue a separate ruling on marital status alone.

In his filing, Jax's lawyer states: "Taylor respectfully requests that this court grant his request for a bifurcated judgment on marital status only. It is clear that this marriage is beyond repair and that no one will benefit by keeping the parties bound to one another as husband and wife."
