West Wilson Won't Return to Summer House
Kyle Cooke shared his surprising reaction to fellow cast member West Wilson's exit from "Summer House". Speaking on the Wednesday, June 24 episode of entertainment outlets's "Virtual Reali-Tea" podcast, Kyle said, "It's unfortunate" and admitted he had considered West a friend just months prior.
Us Weekly reported that West won't be returning to film Season 11 of the reality show following his high-profile romance with Kyle's ex-partner, Amanda Batula. Insiders claim West was already feeling uneasy about staying on the program due to concerns about a long-term fit.
During a recent conversation between Kyle and West captured on the "Summer House: The Aftermath" bonus episode, Kyle looked back on their chat as going nowhere. This episode originally aired last week as part of Bravo's season 10 addendum.
Kyle also commented on the challenge posed by West's upcoming appearance on the In the City spin-off series. Lindsay Hubbard agreed that figuring out what happens next is complicated, adding, "We'll just have to see how this plays out."
In March, West confirmed via joint social media statement with Amanda that they're now romantically involved after starting out as friends. They addressed how they approached their blossoming connection carefully, wanting to take the time to understand each other's feelings before moving forward.
