Mia Thornton Faces Potential Jail Time Over Alleged Furniture Theft

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, former Real Housewives of Potomac star Mia Thornton is facing a felony charge stemming from her 2025 arrest for allegedly stealing furniture.

Prosecutors claim Thornton and an associate, Jared McGriff, stole furniture and a TV valued at least $5,000 but less than $25,000 on October 28, 2025, just a couple of weeks before her arrest. The alleged theft reportedly occurred while the pair were moving out of a furnished condo in the middle of the night.

Thornton was later arrested at an Atlanta airport in November 2025.

This incident raises questions about Thornton's recent activities, particularly given her departure from RHOP and relocation to Atlanta, where she has been dating local radio host Incognito.

Thornton appeared on RHOP from 2021 to 2025, during which time her personal life, including her divorce from husband Gordon Thornton and the paternity of her youngest son, Jeremiah, received significant attention.

The specifics of the alleged theft are currently unclear, and it is uncertain what impact this incident will have on Thornton's future. Her next steps remain unknown.
