The Real Housewives Franchise Expands to Big Sky Country

Bravo is reportedly developing The Real Housewives of Montana, with producers searching for wealthy women in Gallatin County. The show would focus on affluent women from the area who share a pre-existing friendship and history with one another.

According to reports, the production team behind The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and The Real Housewives of Orange County are involved in the project. They're interested in creating a "real, authentic friend group" as opposed to bringing together individuals without existing connections.

Gallatin County, which includes upscale communities such as Bozeman and Big Sky, offers a desirable setting due to its high median income and exclusive ski resorts, including the Yellowstone Club. If the casting process goes well, filming could begin in early 2027.

This new installment would join an expanding family of Real Housewives franchises across the country and abroad, now totaling over a dozen versions. Producers aim to replicate the success of the franchise while introducing viewers to a distinct regional culture and lifestyle.
