RHOSLC Star Whitney Rose on Coparenting With Justin Amid Divorce Filing

Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Whitney Rose has filed for divorce from husband Justin Rose. Despite marital issues, the couple shares a unique coparenting arrangement, where they share two homes and alternate residences to maintain stability and security for their children.

In an interview, Whitney explained: "We're nesting, so our kids stay in one home, and he and I move from home to home, um, to keep the kids' security, safety, stability." This approach has taught her that no matter what happens between her and Justin, their family unit remains intact. "What happens between us doesn't change our commitment to putting the kids first."

Whitney also spoke candidly about rewatching past seasons of RHOSLC, which has been challenging since filming took place some time ago. "I'm in a completely different place and a different mindset," she said. "It's hard to relive, but I'm very proud of Justin and I. We've remained amicable and co-parenting, and yeah, it was hard to watch, but I was there for it."

As the season progressed, Whitney reflected on her healing journey, calling it "really cathartic." "I mean, I'm a completely different person now than I was back then, so obviously, reliving things is hard, but I'm in such a good place now that it's cathartic to watch." She expressed pride in the progress she's made and acknowledged seeing the rewards of her hard work had given her newfound motivation to continue down her path.

When discussing her relationships with castmates, Whitney noted most have been supportive throughout her experience. However, when asked about those who haven't been as understanding, she stated: "They still support me.and for the ones that don't, well, I think that says more about them than it does me." Whitney emphasized focusing on maintaining her own self-worth and inner peace rather than worrying about others' opinions.

"It's okay if everyone isn't in my corner," she reassured. "I wish them all the best; they're still my sisters, whether they like it or not. I root for them because that's who they are – my sisters." She encouraged those around her to open their hearts and minds to new perspectives, acknowledging that understanding can often lead to stronger bonds and deeper connections.
